The owners of this Northbridge residence wanted to breathe new life into their dark and dated home. Having lived in the space for some time prior to the renovation, the family of 4 wanted a space that functioned better for them, a space that was easy to maintain and a floor plan that would suit them for many years to come.
We were inspired by treasured collections of objects and art that the family had collected from their travels overseas. Photographs from their trips to Africa and the UK formed the basis of the concept design which CPD built upon, creating a contemporary colour and material palette for the home.
With young children and a busy lifestyle, custom joinery with plenty of storage was a must for this family. CPD made considered design choices when planning and developing the design of each joinery piece and this has resulted in a clutter free space that allows the family to stay organised and enjoy their home with minimal maintenance.
The Northbridge home now has a feeling of effortless elegance, a home full of warmth, texture and refined simplicity.
